To use "EST/EDT" instead of "AEST/AEDT" in Antartica as is by this patch: http://mm.icann.org/pipermail/tz/2013-April/018994.html and EST as is done by the IANA time zone database, could be a source of future confusion and discussion. Especially if other countries that have an EST/EDT abbreviated time inherited their abbreviations to AQ-zones. This is a vote to use AEST/AEDT, or switch completely to Internationalized time point unique abbreviations. -- Tobias Conradi Rheinsberger Str. 18 10115 Berlin Germany http://tobiasconradi.com/
