I should have read it the evening of Saturday night (Sunday at midnight goes back 1 hour to Saturday 23:00). It makes more sense that way both occurring in the evening of saturday night to sunday morning.
the changes occurs at midnight:
saturday night may 31st at midnight (which in french is to be intrepreted as the night between saturday and sunday)
sunday night the 28th at midnight
