Nobody should worry about these 30%, I think, these days. A lot more of space is wasted, everywhere. On my Mac (Catalina) I find at least three full copies of tzdb ls -l /var/db/timezone/tz drwxr-xr-x 5 root wheel 160 27 Okt 03:33 2020d.1.0 drwxr-xr-x 5 root wheel 160 31 Jan 04:26 2020f.1.0 drwxr-xr-x 5 root wheel 160 2 Feb 04:27 2021a.1.0
