Re: [technology taskforce] Draft agenda for TTF session at ICANN60 and overview of TTF | Draft slides for Review of Conferencing Solutions
Dear all, *Available for viewing/download herewith* <https://drive.google.com/open?id=10T2pTFHgn5fE0O1OGZQbBdG02SQGj138ROVI02JhXH...> for the TTF's feedback are the updated draft slides for the Review of Conferencing Solutions. This is in respect of the agenda item " Review/Report of Conferencing Solutions" outlined by Dev (as threaded below). In brief, this report incorporates data drawn from past TTF WG call notes, reports and culminating in a suggested next step to continue the review on an ad-hoc basis. Any thoughts or feedback on this would be appreciated. Thanks and regards , Justine Chew ----- On 10 October 2017 at 04:27, Gordon Chillcott <gordontc@gmail.com> wrote:

Dear All,
The TTF has to submit a agenda by today for its one hour session at ICANN60 and an blurb/overview of the TTF for inclusion on the ICANN agenda pages.
Here's a draft agenda :
* Introduction to Technology Taskforce * Update of selected projects - Policy Tracking - TTF recommendation to ALAC re: group chat - TTF wiki layout - Review/Report of Conferencing Solutions * Selected Technology Issues Updates - upgrading the LACRALO mailing list translation tool - making At-Large conference calls playable on mobile devices - ICANN's Adobe Connect issues * What are your Technology Issues in ICANN? * AoB
and the "overview of the TTF"
"The Technology Taskforce (TTF) evaluates and reviews various technologies and tools that can help the At-Large Community better participate in ICANN. Examples of these technologies include: chat tools, web conferencing tools, captioning, Knowledge Management tools.
At ICANN60, the Technology Taskforce will be presenting its work on overcoming several technology issues facing the community and discussing with ICANN Staff potential solutions and/or workarounds.
Anyone interested in Information and Communication Technology and how they can be applied to solve the needs of ICANN At-Large and other ICANN communities are welcome to attend and join the TTF."
Any thoughts on draft agenda and/or the overview?

Dear Colleagues: The slides seem reasonable and cover the work done so far regarding the Conferencing Solution agenda. It gives an opportunity for audience to ask questions. Good job!

This is great. Thank you for sharing. Is it too late to add a comment? Under Adobe Connect issues, there have some complaints about not being able to use all the pods of AC for mobile users (could be a minor challenge). For example, mobile users were not able to participate in surveys during calls. Otherwise, thank you for putting this together and looking forward to the meeting in Abu Dhabi. I agree with Sarah’s comment. Not sure if you need to add it since it is sort of plugin, but I do insist it is mentioned during the discusión/presentation of the report.

Hi Sarah and Alfredo I agree with you on the Adobe connect issues but think some of these issues may be resolved with the new release of the Adobe connect app/plugin. These issues were documented more than 1 year ago and perhaps many of them are now fixed. We could have staff test these issues and see which are resolved or not. Also we need to make a list of all our questions on Adobe connect and send them to Sara Caplis and she can then answer them all. We did that once with Josh and he came prepared with a long PowerPoint that answered many of them Judith Sent from my iPhone
