Hi everyone,
I had the same trouble to join in me to AC Rooms from my Linux Distribution (Debian) but never for Confluence.
My issue was solved installing Google Chrome.

Hi, Dev:

I tried this on Linux Mint 17 with the "Using Adobe Connect With Linux"
page and it worked.  It didn't work for me on the page in question, of
course - I don't have permissions there.

This sounds as though it might well be a permissions problem.
