Yeah, we did a pilot and the only problem was the lack of participation. Moving the CPWG to a new technology is no simple task. I still think we need to do it, especially the CPWG. Email and Skype SUCK for these types of discussions about policy. I’m not sure of the best strategy, to be honest.

HI Greg,

We did a pilot test run of loomio for one month. I liked it very much and think it was very good.  It will be even better with these new additions. The main problem is that legal does not support it and as such will not our staff use it. However, if we really want it possibly we can push harder or just use it without staff supporting us

Jonathan,

This looks very interesting.  I've heard good things about Loomio.  Of course, one of the key things is getting the right feature set.  Almost all of these tools are good for some situations and not for others.

Maybe we could arrange a pilot?  Would it be crazy to pilot this with the CPWG?

They continue to innovate this product. It’s easily the best solution out there for our threaded discussions and consensus building. We CAN hack something together with Slack and Cloverpop but this is definitely better….and open source! Just thought I would share my thoughts.
