In response to the ALAC’s question to ICANN Org regarding their plans for community discussion on the proposed updates to the Operating Standards for Specific Reviews (OSSR), please see the response below:

The team has taken note of the interest in having more community discussions on the operating standards.  We understand that this topic, as well as related Review topics, is specifically part of the agenda for discussions among the SO/AC leaders, and the Board's discussions with the community during ICANN82.  We expect it will be possible following those discussions and the input received in the public comment proceeding, to structure another community discussion around key areas of the operating standards, to inform next steps.  We think this could take the form of a webinar session that is discussion-oriented (vs. sharing of information as with the previous webinar), or other form of as appropriate based on the direction of the feedback.  If the ALAC has suggestions on what it would like to see for follow-up discussion, we welcome those as well.
