Good morning all
I'm glad I was awoken early by a rooster (yes, it still happens!) and remembered the OFB-WG meeting. And I'm glad I checked in, as I was really interested to hear about the progress of the RoR group from JZ and Avri.
And it reminded me that just over a year ago, on behalf of the OFB-WG, Joanna, Marita and I volunteered to undertake a rather extensive list of expectations relating to the Continuous Improvement Programme. Our first draft to the next OFB-WG meeting, was met with a request that the draft required some SMART objectives. While this offered us a challenge - especially over the Xmas period - we persevered nonetheless and submitted a not quite finished draft to the OFB-WG in early January 2025.
At that meeting, we were told by the At-Large CIP reps that we had overstretched our responsibility, and had only needed to focus on the first section. Because of this omission of instruction, the remainder of our efforts were ignored which was really disappointing because we felt they contained some important issues for At-Large.
Therefore, after hearing this morning's presentation I wondered if our original review, while an internal perspective, may be helpful to the RoR team. I am submitting it as our hopeful contribution to your discussion, and to also recall the considerable effort that was made by our small team over the Xmas period 2024-25.
Regards
Maureen (on behalf of Joanna and Marita)
