Thanks to Alberto, there should now be enough evidence to demonstrate that most of the LACRALO WGs proposed are extraordinary and not likely to produce the desired outcomes. I reiterate our position; Save and except the Governance WG, we are yet persuaded to the view that the more we encourage linkages and participation in the ALAC-level WGs, the better LACRALO members would be prepared for meaningful and influential names and numbers policy development work. The facts are not disputable. Authoritative policy advice and other bye-law mandated interventions happen at the ALAC level. If one follows closely how current ALAC engages for policy advice, the role played by the CPWG and the Outreach and Engagement WGs are spotlighted. LACRALO is best advised to cast their lot at that level by expanding the number of voices beyond our 2 elected representatives.
