RV: [ALAC-Announce] CALL FOR COMMENTS: ALAC Statement on the Preferential Treatment for Community Applications in String Contention

      Colegas,

la consulta que aquí convoca ALAC sobre preferencia a la comunidad cuando hay contención por "cuerdas" (secuencias) de caracteres, es decir, nombres, debería ser de interés.

Parecería procedente que 

1. Nuestros representantes en ALAC nos ampliaran la información y dijeran cómo han votado;
2. quienes han batallado con/contra gTLDs expresaran puntos de vista derivados de su experiencia
3. abriéramos un debate general
4. llegáramos a conclusiones a tiempo y orientáramos el voto en ALAC; de ser necesario, con una declaración formal que cuente con consenso.

Olivier Crépin-Leblond, Chair of the ALAC, has asked that a call for comments be made on the draft "ALAC Statement on the Preferential Treatment for Community Applications in String Contention<https://community.icann.org/x/MlV-Ag>" in preparation for the start of the ALAC ratification process.

The current draft, as well as additional information on the Public Comment, can be found on the ALAC Statement on the Preferential Treatment for Community Applications in String Contention Workspace.<https://community.icann.org/x/MlV-Ag>

Please submit any comments on the workspace using the comments function by 8-August-2013 23:59 UTC.
