However, we are equally concerned about building regional capacity for those less experienced and especially for service on the Nominating Committee, presenting a solid consensus view from the region. Accordingly, I will decline the nomination and throw my support to the selection of Christelle Vaval as the preferred candidate for the ALAC's consideration.
