Colegas, llega este anuncio de apertura de un período de comentarios públicos sobre los grupos de trabajo trans-comunitarios en ICANN. Es posible que sea de interés e importancia estudiar el documento y en su caso que LACRALO se manifieste al respecto. Los CCWGs tienen entre sus principales virtudes el interconectar componentes de ICANN que estarían aislados dentro del diseño matricial de la organización (en SOs y ACs), y entre sus principales problemas el constituir nuevos centros de poder y oportunidades de captura, crear interferencias sobre mecanismos de las entidades establecidas, lentitud y dificultades para alcanzar consenso, y, como en otras estructuras, los riesgos de falta de transparencia sobre los intereses de los participantes. Hay en esta comunidad algunos miembros con experiencia en distintos CCWGs o bien con experiencia fuera de los CCWGs que permite formar opiniones informadas. Ojalá sea un tema de interés.
