Regrettably, I will not be able to attend today's LACRALO call due to another meeting happening at the same time. I will be posting some observations on some of the sessions I attended over the coming days.

I would like to mention that I met with ICANN's IT staff and they have said they are planning to work on the LACRALO mailing list issues regarding machine translation (see https://community.icann.org/x/tQVlAg) with the intent to have some improvements ready for testing by the LACRALO community before the next ICANN meeting.

Re: LACRALO WGs on the today's agenda

I would urge for continuing of the LACRALO Governance WG conference calls and to a lesser extent, the LACRALO Strategic Planning WG. The work of the LACRALO Governance WG which we have only barely started, is important for us to discuss and understand the issues related to governance in LACRALO. Only by dialogue to understand the problems/issues related to LACRALO Governance, we can attempt to come up with solutions. Also, the discussions in the Governance WG would help to update the SWOT produced by the LACRALO Strategic Planning WG.

Re: recent elections for LACRALO chair and secretariat

Congratulations to Jose Arce and Sylvia Leite on their re-election to LACRALO chair and secretariat respectively and many thanks to Lance Hinds for his candidacy.
