I am happy about the resumption of a newsletter for the LAC region, we had clearly missed it since Lilian. For my part, I have chosen the date of November 24 as the deadline. Like Laura, I would like to know the format (is there a template? an editorial line? number of words per contribution?)
However, be careful when sending requests to the LAC community only in Spanish, there is a strong community of English-speaking, French-speaking and Portuguese-speaking members.
Furthermore, I have publicly expressed the fact of joining the editorial or communication committee (specially for the newsletter), and I had no information about it in advance, before this surprising email. It is important that things are structured and collaborative between the sub-regions. We need to come together and build a desirable future together.
I take the time to write and at least translate because it is a sign of respect, especially since the automatic translation tools of our mailing list are sometimes faulty (not working properly)

Je suis heureuse de la reprise d'une newsletter pour la région LAC, cela nous avait clairement manqué depuis Lilian. J'ai retenu pour ma part la date du 24 novembre comme délai. Comme Laura j'aimerais connaître le format (il y a t'il un template ? une ligne éditoriale ? nombre de mots par contribution ? )
Cependant, attention aux envois de requêtes à la communauté LAC qu'en Espagnol, il y a une forte communauté de membres anglophones, francophones et lusophones.
Par ailleurs, j'ai exprimé publiquement le fait de rejoindre le comité de rédaction ou de relecture de la newsletter, et je n'ai eu aucune info la dessus en amont, avant ce mail surprise. Il est important que les choses soient structurées et collaboratives entre les sous régions. Nous avons besoin de nous retrouver et construire un avenir désirable en commun.
Je prend le temps d'écrire et à minima de traduire car c'est un signe de respect, surtout que les outils de traductions automatiques de notre mailing-list sont parfois défaillants.

Estoy contento con la reanudación de un boletín para la región de LAC, claramente lo habíamos perdido desde Lilian. Por mi parte, mantuve como fecha límite el 24 de noviembre. Al igual que Laura, me gustaría saber el formato (¿hay una plantilla? ¿una línea editorial? ¿número de palabras por contribución?)
Sin embargo, tenga cuidado al enviar solicitudes a la comunidad de LAC, ya que en español hay una fuerte comunidad de miembros que hablan inglés, francés y portugués.
Además, expresé públicamente el hecho de unirme al comité editorial o de revisión del boletín, y no tenía información al respecto antes de este correo electrónico sorpresa. Es importante que las cosas estén estructuradas y colaborativas entre las subregiones. Necesitamos unirnos y construir juntos un futuro deseable.
Me tomo el tiempo para escribir y al menos traducir porque es una señal de respeto, sobre todo porque las herramientas de traducción automática de nuestra lista de correo a veces fallan.
