The ICANN Nominating Committee (NomCom) delegates and Leadership team met at ICANN 65 in Marrakesh, Morocco to interview, further evaluate and select candidates from the 2nd intercessional short-list. 

This was a continuation of the candidate selection phase in the NomCom process. 

Selections for the most qualified candidates were completed for these 10 open seats: 

• 3 seats for the ICANN board
• 1 seat for the PTI board
• 3 seats for each of these ALAC regions: Africa, LAC & Asia Pacific
• 1 seat for ccNSO 
• 2 seats for the GNSO

New selectees will officially assume their roles in Montréal, Canada at the conclusion of the ICANN 66 Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for November ; however public announcements of the selections should be published in late August or early September 2019
